About Bentu

A journal for everywhere you eat.

Bentu is a private channel between diners and restaurants. After a meal you say how it went, Meh, Good or Great, and add a few words if you like. It goes to the restaurant, not to a public review page.

The same visit stays with you. See everywhere you’ve been on a map, rank your favorites head to head, keep notes on what to order next time, and share a list with friends when they ask where to eat. Bentu is free for diners.

Restaurants claim their page, put a QR code on the table and read every visit in one dashboard. They can reply to guests who have an account and, on the trial and Founding Member, give a guest who had a bad night a reason to come back and invite guests who loved it to post on Google or Yelp.

We check every claim by hand, usually within 2–3 business days, before a restaurant can read its guests’ feedback.

Who makes Bentu

“I kept leaving restaurants with something to tell the owner and no good way to say it. Bentu is that channel. I set up every restaurant with its owner, so you’ll hear from me, not a sales sequence.”
